Apolodor Ltd. – Environmental Statement
1. Apolodor Ltd (the Company) acknowledges its environmental obligations under the Environmental Protection act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012. The Director Responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental issues, Luca Chelaru, recognises that she has a duty to take an environmentally (and socially) sensible method both to current activities and to potential new events.
2. The Company, so far as is realistically achievable, aims to pay specific consideration to:
a). Reduce disruption to the local and global environment, and to the local communities and wildlife.
b). Adhere to the waste management hierarchy as defined in the Waste (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012. The Company will abide by the order outlined below:
• Prevention
• Preparing for re-use
• Recycling
• Recovery
• Disposal
c). Reduce use of energy and raw materials and to adhere to the standards of sustainability.
d). Consider the environment in the design of processes and products and the maintenance of equipment.
e). Supply information on the use and final disposal of products.
f). Guarantee that all workers and suppliers are effectively advised about the Company’s environmental policy.
g). Reduce the use of product related materials and services such as packaging or transport.
3. For the Company can attain those goals, it is vital that workers acknowledge their duty, whilst at work, to take satisfactory care of the environment. Workers should also co-operate fully with the Company or anyone else involved, to ensure that their legal and moral obligations are done or conformed with.
